Abigail Wilt is a third-year undergraduate student studying journalism and mass communication with a minor in english (literature) from the ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her work focuses on magazine and multimedia journalism.


During her time in college she has worked for The State Press as the visuals editor and The State Press Magazine as a full time reporter. She also works as a multimedia communications aide for The ASU School of Music, Dance and Theatre where she produces a variety of written and multimedia content for the program.


She is based in Phoenix, Arizona, but was raised all over the U.S. living in Virginia, Colorado, Oregon and traveling full time in an RV with her five other family members.


Her interest in journalism began when she started the digital newspaper at her high school while also being the editor-in-chief of both the yearbook and newspaper. Journalism has always been a strong passion that she hopes to turn into a successful career.


In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, going to concerts and hanging out with friends. She describes herself as someone who is ambitious, open-minded and always up for an adventure.
